Greetings. With great pleasure, I welcome you to Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College (SVEC), an Autonomous Institution, managed by Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Trust. SVEC is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, recognized by Government of Andhra Pradesh, and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Ananthapur, Ananthapuramu.
Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College was established during the year 1996 to create, nurture and shape technical professionals and leaders to create an inclusive and sustainable society in a National and International perspective. To achieve this, SVEC is offering Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral programs that nurture many vibrant and promising professionals equipped with skills to face the ever changing social, economical and technical landscape of our country. I am very much pleased to share with you that SVEC is accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) and also UG programs are accredited by NBA (National Board of Accreditation).
SVEC’s emphasis is on outcome based education (OBE) and experiential learning. The academic activities concentrate on helping the students to gain an excellent theoretical knowledge base and acquire skills to implement them. We are constantly reviewing our curricula to update and improve while making sure that students gain thinking skills, analytical frameworks, entrepreneurial skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
At SVEC, we provide high end student centric learning environment and research opportunities in new frontiers of engineering and technology with special focus towards leadership and innovation. Students are provided with opportunities for interaction with experts from the industry through guest lectures, industrial visits, internships, sponsored projects, student chapters of international professional bodies, etc. To align with the curricula, we have excellent faculty, state of the art infrastructure and laboratories, spacious green campus, world class hi-tech library and peaceful academic environment to achieve institution’s vision.

Principal’s Profile:
Dr. Y. Dileep Kumar, Principal i/c, Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College, an Autonomous Institution in Tirupati, has a total experience of 20 years in Teaching, Research and Administration, with strong communication and presentation skills, effective collaboration & team building capabilities and with a zeal to adapt to latest technological and leadership concepts & utilize the same in a productive and effective manner for the progress of the Institution.
He has published papers in reputed National and International journals. His areas of interest are Biomedical Signal Processing, Biomedical Instrumentation and Control systems.
It is extremely delighted to work along with the dynamic changes that are coming in the field of Higher Education in general and technical education in specific. The real challenge lies in bringing ‘student first’ concept in the educational practice. The need for giving a top priority to establish systems and practices to better the learning outcomes of students and thereby enhancing their employability or aptitude to entrepreneurship is highly relevant and essential.
