Security and well being of the Students are the utmost priority of the Institute. To safeguard people and the property, Institute has installed IP based CCTV Cameras all across the Campus, including hostels with a centralized monitoring system.

SVEC campus has about 650 IP based CCTV cameras from HikVision, monitoring the entire campus and its surroundings 24 x 7 and is one of the most secured campuses. Whether it is to monitor who is entering and leaving the campus, whether someone has lost a Mobile or a Bag or whether any Vehicle has been lost in the parking space, all these will be recorded through the Cameras and recordings are used to help Staff and Students when they need it.  Every Classroom, Lab, Bag area, Students sitting area and every corridor of the multiple buildings in the campus has watchful eye of the Cameras 24×7. Institute has a very strict policy on discipline and behavior of students as well as Faculty members.

In addition, college has built a separate service road facility “MB Marg” for the benefit of students to commute from college to hostels and vice-versa. Institute continuously monitors the security of students at various bus stops through private security personnel in mufti.  Institute has Cameras monitoring the main road and the bus stop for security of Students. Staff is assigned for monitoring the cameras and recordings.
